System assembled Thanksgiving last year. Two cats in house. CPU temps a little higher than normal in a Duron 650 @900. Doing a little spring cleaning and what do you know if there wasn't a huge furball in the veins of the GlobalWin 32-1.

What have those cats been doing to my computer? (do i wanna know?)

I know exactly what you mean. I use damn near a can of compressed air every month on my two computers.

I put fan guards with filters mounted behind the fan, found alot less dust in the case, cheap and a very effect solution.

P.S. I also heard that it is better to put on the front of teh fans, (filter before fan) any confirmations? Seems just as effective (or maybe equally ineffective?) no matter what side the filters are on...

Well, if you put it on the front, keeps the crap out of the fan. The crap is also on the outside where it is easier to clean off, instead of down inside between the filter and fan.
