I forgot about a date I had

I feel pretty crappy about it. I had made plans on Thursday with this girl to get together tonight for dinner tonight. I have an interview for an internship tomorrow that I have been doing a lot to prepare for. She called me 45 minutes after we were supposed to meet up and I knew immediately why she was calling. Of course, she asked why I wasn't there. And I told her the truth. I have been somewhat stressed about the interivew, havent been feeling well, and I was out all day with my family and it slipped my mind. I even asked her if there was any way possible I could some how make it up to her, even if its just a one time thing just to say that I am sorry. She wouldnt let me. I dont really blame her though....she has midterms this week and left the library to go meet me. Just sucks big time. I have been on the otherside of the table more than once, so I know how she is feeling. Thats kind of the salt in the wound for me. 🙁
 
buy her some flowers. have them delivered if possible. put a nice little note inside saying how sorry you are.

the fact that she had to call you... well, that is a flower delivery deal.

EDIT: oh yea... in the note... dont ask for another chance. just apologize.
 
show up at her door with a heart-shaped box of chocolates (the box actually made of chocolate) with an assortment of chocolates on the inside (i'm not sure such a thing is actually made) with a teddy bear and tell her you're sorry. sing an apology. if you can't sing, so much the better. she'll know you tried. that'll work, at least it should
 
so you intentionally didn't call her and let her know you couldn't make it? your an asshole and you deserve everything you got coming to you.
 
Not entirely sure why you didn't lie..."oh I thought our date was for 15 minutes from now", then somehow blame her.
 
$5 says she thinks you were watching the game a lied to her. If it had been next weekend she would have understood...

Oh well, I dont think flowers are gonna fix it if she thinks you skipped her for a football game!
