Is an adjective. It means that an arugment is becoming a personal agrument whether than an argument based on fact.

this thread reminds me of my ethics class over the summer.

it was great...even though the teacher spent every class period telling us about her experiences with bums in morristown or drinking in irish pubs and not really going over what was in the book.

yeah, thats one of those phrases im always trying to remember but its almost impossible to look up.
