I was curious where it was going so I ran out my gate and tried to find the gate it was at. Apparently they use it to go to Sidney. I thought they would use the A380 for some major long haul flight.

Anyways, it was impressive to see such a monster jet. Need to get my pics uploaded soon.

787 and A380 are for completely different routes. the 787 is for many long-haul nonstops. the A380 is for long-haul hub-to-hub flights.

Yeah, they're both pretty cool planes, but for different reasons. IMHO Boeing did a better job of predicting where the market was heading, but that could easily have been reversed.
