I fixed my loud fan problem

drilled some holes rigged up an 80mm sunon onto my globalwin fop38, only gained about 1-2 C in temp doing it, and it's a lot quieter than the 47db beast that was on it before.

it's pretty solidly held there too

i think i'll use zipties for everything. next will be my shoes.

Come on, that's not even close to being a hack job, where's the duct tape?;)

Good job by the way, great idea for those hard to mount fan/sink combo's.

I've got the same HSF and the standard fan is pretty loud - nice job.

Noise doesn't bother me anymore....

WHAT?....HUH?...I CANNOT HEAR YOU - I'VE GOT MY PC ON!

lol, you guys think thats loud, try running a GlobalWin WBK38. it is supposed to be the same fan as on the FOP38 but my roomate has one of those and when you stand in the middle of our room, my comp is waaaay louder. In fact, we can hear it through the floor!! Anyway, that was an awesome job with that fan mod
