I fixed it. I needed to have a separate monitor plugged in at the same time and tell Catalyst control center to replace the monitor with the TV to enable it.
Trying to build a new HTPC for my sister, who absolutely INSISTS on using a
ratty old 32" 'tube TV that only has s-video input. Problem is, when I reboot after installing the GPU driver for the Radeon HD2400 Pro, Win7 boots into a black screen. I get the intel BIOS, the "Starting Windows" with the logo, and then... nothing.
If I connect a monitor (or my own HDTV) through DVI or VGA, it gives "No Signal" on both inputs.
Win7 WILL give output on the s-video either in safe mode or as long as the driver isn't installed.
I can also get output on VGA or DVI if I boot up with either of those plugged.
I REALLY need this damn thing to boot to S-video, though.
Help?
Oh, system info:
Windows 7 HP 32bit
Radeon HD2400 Pro PCIE
Pentium 4 3.2ghz
Intel DG965wh
1gb DDR2-667
Nothing else installed yet
