So my gf is in the last year of her MFA, and has to have part-time jobs, etc. Well a few weeks ago she got laid off of the place she worked, which was too bad because it was for an employment agency, and had very flexible hours and paid well for a PTJ, but I digress. So I hired her to come in and do some of the crap I hate to do myself, knowing it would be short term. Well she hasn't been able to find a job yet, and over the past few weeks I have noticed that she's a bad employee, late, lazy, sloppy, etc. so I called her into my office about ten minutes ago and canned her.
