I just beat Doom 2 with Project brutality v3. Was fun and a bit challenging, but one of the Archvile variants are really nasty and scary. Oddly, I didn't see any upgraded Spider Mastermind variants. Next I think I will go through TNT.
 
well, i just discovered Black Mesa, which is a fan-made 1:1 clone of Half Life 1, with all new assets.
and THEY FIXED THE ******** STAIRS !!
