The biggest newspaper in my area is = www.nytimes.com

leaning left. anti-Bush to be sure, but that doesn't necessarily make them a left-wing paper, and outside of the editorials, I don't find a wealth of liberal bias on their news coverage.
 
The Ann Arbor News - a left-leaning paper serving a far-left clientele of mostly college-educated members of the UMich community.

I think the AANews is great, but I also wish they'd print letters the day after they receive them. They've been about three weeks behind ever since I've lived here.

That's just because nothing ever happens in Ukiah. It's front page news when a dog gets a leg amputated (I'm serious about this, btw). However, if there were actual events to report, I'm pretty sure they would lean left. Have you ever read the editor's editorials? She's quite clearly a leftist.
