I find it very hard to be charitable after reading this.

I have always known there were people in 3rd world countries who take advantage of the generosity of others, but when your fellow countrymen are starving, how can you justify burning the donated food, or stealing it so you can turn around and sell it in the market.

Disgusting display of humanity.

No surprise there. It's all about control...make the people understand who gives them the food. It's not the charitable organizations who give food to the people...it's the warlords.

Happens in Somalia, happened recently during the floods in Burma, happens in all the 3rd-world shitholes...I wouldn't be surprised if it happens in Pakistan and Afghanistan as well.

I suggest checking out Dambisa Moyo book Dead Aid. She's an economist from Zambia who has worked for the World Bank and Goldman Sachs. She basically argues that the $1 trillion dollars in aid given to Africa in the past fifty years is being wasted on corrupt governments, and that direct economic stimulation would go farther to help the people there.

The same applies for Haiti and a lot of Latin American countries if you want to get closer to home. Systemic corruption has to be tackled first before poverty can be dealt with.

Controlling food is a way to control the people. There's more than enough food in the world to feed everyone, but certain regimes stand in the way of their people receiving that food because it allows them to stay in power. Hungry people worry about their next meal, not who's running the country.

That said, Africa is a lost cause. The last bastion of society there, South Africa, is rapidly descending into anarchy.

They do everything right, this brave people who defend their country, their people. Approximately in 1984, the U.S. and Europe have agreed that they will add to the meal special medicines that slow the development of the brain and body of people in third world countries. After that big corporations like Microsoft could use the people in these countries as slaves, who almost did not pay for the work. And the countries themselves were not dangerous for NATO, because they are in constant misery and do not develop technically.
Even appliances, such as tractors and cars, which they give to charity, is radioactive, that would cause mutations and deformities in humans.

yep

shit like this goes on all the time

did you know that we have killed local business in some countries by giving them so much free shit that corrupt people sell it instead of giving it as charity

charity is great but unfortunately it comes with a responsibility of verifying that the stuff you give gets to where its SUPPOSED to go

LOL, you think libertarian means anarchy. Another blast of stupidity from Steeplerot.

Basically the fundamental attribute of libertarian is anarchism as defined relative to current, modern, society. The prevalence of "free market' in life would result in anarchy. Sorry to say it but that's the reality of the situation.

You actually thought it worked differently? Of course 90% of the money you donate is probably going towards something else. Its common sense that someone will try to take advantage of people's bleeding hearts.

Sounds like you have had a little too much of this "special medicine" judging from your posts.
