They finally upgraded the switches in my area & brought DSL to me & I subscribed too, much faster. I like the concept too you can have access for free, but speedy access to the forums is nice for a few $.

Just hope Google doesn't get the idea too...

I want to thank all of you who welcomed me to this elite subscriber club. I am eagerly awaiting my decoder ring and secret password to "Subscriber Only" events. I'm still doing my best to learn the handshake.

I think we need our own slew of subscriber icons. My cow, for example, should have sunglasses and be chugging a beer or something..... because he's now "extra cool"

by the way, the speed increase is ridiculous. it's worth it.

i'm intrigued by the idea of micropayments, where you pay a fraction of a penny per search or something. not because i like paying money... the concept just sounds interesting.
