I finally sent my XTi off to Canon for repair

Ever since I have had it, it would not let me view/transfer pics when connected via usb and my popup flash stopped working. I sent it in and got my camera back, it looks brand new!
They said the main pcb was faulty, they also cleaned it, replaced other parts(didn't say what and did some electrical adjustments.

Canon! I was for sure they would charge me, a few months ago I got some sand on it but they didn't. I have dealt with Canon repair before on two occasions and they have always been great

I've sent cameras and camcorders back to Canon on various occasions. I only paid shipping to get the broken unit there.

Typically, they just take my serial number sticker off and put it on a refurbed unit....which means it's in very good condition when it returns to me. Repairs, on average, take 7-10 days to get back.
