the holy grail is the best of the movies, IMO.

meaning of life gets seriously demented towards the end, and the director's cut on the DVD is extra weird. by the end of "life" you're almost not sure if it's funny anymore because it slowly decends into this mood that's incredibly dark, cynical, and oppressive. terry jones and terry gilliam at their most morbid, rivaling even Brazil for bizarre psychosis.

That line gets old regardless, I think. "I'm invincible" is good, though
"I wave my private parts at your ainties!"
"...k'nig'hts"
etc. stay funny, as does the camelot dancing scene, patsy, "big...tracks of land."
...on and on.

I need to get the Meaning Of Life on DVD...
