I finally received my settlement from my father's estate

I received a call from my sister telling me the estate have finally been settled. Its been a year and a half since my father passed away. This was supposed to be settled in September but was delayed.

I picked up the check on Saturday and headed straight for the bank. They will be holding the check until Friday.

They did give me some spending money out of it: $1500.

So now I have money for bills and presents and a nice LCD TV for my living room. :awe:

Later on I will be looking at getting a new car.

I still miss him, but the money does help. Slowly I am turning all this money into more money. I am still waiting on some more money from insurance.
