I have a really old video card, a GeForce 2 MX. I'm planning on getting a new one soon, but till that happens, I'm stuck with this one. What I'd like to know, is the hardware hookup for the second monitor.

I don't have two monitor outputs on my video card, all I have is one monitor output, a s-video output jack (i think) and a yellow output jack.

Would anyone have any useful information which could help me out? Thanks!

you're sol until you get a video card with 2 outs (dvi or vga), or until you get a pci video card to stick next to your agp one.

Get a new card. I enjoy my ti4280 albatron card.

Just wish I found a card that was for gaming, fast and inexpensive with dual dvi.

Two ways:
1) Get a video card with dual output
2) Get another PCI video card and use 2 video cards

I shouldn't have a problem with a ATI Raedon 9800 pro right? (that's the card I'm planning in getting next)

don't get ATI. I don't think ATI support spanning games.

Get NVIDIA so you can do this.

can you do that with any game? like starcraft or something... or does the game have to support it as well?

yeah, really. unless the game was designed for dual monitors why would you want to do that?
