Don't send it back, but offer to send back the 2x128 MB SoDIMM in exchange for a 1x256MB Sodimm
in the meantime, it will run fine on the 256 you have.

If they don't do it, keep what you have, it's a good deal.

What are you going to use the laptop for?

If it'll involve gaming, return it.

If it's merely for documents, and all that junk...web browsing, e-mails, etc.

Then I say keep it and take advantage of the faster processor + better battery life.

Just my 2 cents.
