After buying several AMD chips, 2 XP 1900+, one XP 2000+, an AMD64 3000+ and an X2 3800+; i finally got a good OC chip, ironically its a Sempron 2600+ E6 stepping.

I have it OCed to 2.0Ghz on the stock voltage! But i got a cheapo Biostar NF3-250Gb MB and that has a max HTT of 250Mhz. Doh!😱 I have the MB maxed out but most definitely haven't maxed out the chip.

Oh well, but i felt that i needed to share. 😛
 
Sorry to hear that bubba, I agree with the DFI route though, I wish I'd bought one instead of this Asus K8N pile, 300 max HTT but ZERO cpu voltage adjustments! I have the same chip and it will go 294 HTT, any higher it gets flakey.
