For some reason, I almost found that insulting. hahahahahha. Look at the specs, and then look at the specs on your mobo... Heck, just look at the bus bandwidth, and that should work. PCI-X is great for RAID.

SuperMicro X5DAE mobo & the BC4852 will be home to:
5x250gb Hitachi hd (RAID 5)
3x36gb WD Raptor (RAID 0)

And then when I start running out of room again, I will get another BC4852 or 4452, and do some more in a JBOD array. I was up to 1.5TB before I sold my drives and migrated to SATA...
