I posted this in August of 2006:
"I am trying to figure out the name of a movie I saw 5 or 6 years ago(could have been more). It is a movie similar to Ground Hogs Day in that the guy keeps waking up in the same day. He is shocked by a power surge at the time some guy at his work is trying to turn on a kind of space time machine experiment that fails and sends everyone over and over again through the same day. He remembers each day but no one else does. He gets a woman, who he falls in love at the end, at his work to finally believe him they end up solving the the whole thing and saving the planet. There is a part in there where the guy is driving to work each day and sees the same accident over and over and finally one of the days he is speeding to get to work and he is in the accident. One other main thing is that the girl always seems to get killed each time.
That is some general info about it, and someone out there must know what the name of this movie is or have it. I thought the girl was the same girl that played supergirl(1984) but I didn't see any movie that rang a bell when I looked at the list of movies she had been in, but the lady that played the part looked like her. I also think the movie name had something to do with the time of day the warp took place which was sometime around 11pm or close to midnight.

Finally found it. It's called 12:01. Going to watch it new years eve and am looking forward to it. I doubt anyone would remember the post but I just thought I would give an update in case anyone who read the original post and had a guess was interested in the answer.
