I surprised her with a horseback trip. We rode on some narrow trails in the mountains near my house.

I packed a simple picnic lunch.

We ate, and talked, and then I popped the question.

She said yes!

AND

Then I had arranged a "birthday dinner" and had gotten about 35 of our friends together at her favorite restaurant, and we walked in and surprised them with the ring.

It couldn't have worked out better!

Just had to share in the excitement. No pictures of the rock just yet. They'll come!

It really is a cool feeling... I feel like I can finally be completely open. Now if I could just bypass all the wedding planning and head straight to the honeymoon...

Awesome man. One less guy for me to compete with in the area! What spot did you eat at?

BTW, being a fellow AT'er and all, I better get an invite to the wedding.....only if she has hot friends attending that is 😉.

Naw.... it is not that bad. Really... 😀
To be honest though... if both of you are still standing by the wedding... you will be able to survive anything! 😀
Enjoy the time planning it. don't stress out too much. If she wants something as small as chair covers, or real flowers, let her have them. It is not worth arguing about!

PS.... where you guys planning on honeymooning? any ideas yet?
