i finally beat hl!!!111one!!!

OMG I started like four days ago and FINALLY beat the first HL without cheating! I beat the second one first, and it made me wanna play the first again....
why?
because i never really beat the first. I did it using god mode, all ammo, and using noclip when i got confused!

but the reason i never really beat it: the game was sooo freaking scary!

I remember playing it when it first came out when i was in 8th/9th grade and OMG it freaked the heck outta me i didn't play like 10 minutes after the game started. The sounds and enemies alwasy freaked me out...i especially hated those crab things and i spent those 10-20 minutes i was playing just running AWAY!!!

I know how weird that sounds...but then the second i played it i was in 10th grade or so and i could barely get past 1/2 of the first level when i had to cheat because it scared me to heck too much! atleast. i could manage it if i cheated and knew i wasn't going to die.

but muahahaha....4-5 years later I come out on top and beat it without cheating!!!

now i can't wait for hl3...hehee by then 4 yeras from then i'll be outta college with a job and hopefully a kick arse entertainment system x_x i can't wait to unload rounds into anytihing that moves!

AHAHAH your sig is hilaroius...for 5 straight minute si was laughing and my parents came in to see what the check i was cakcling about...lollll
 
i need to go out and get hl1. it was before my time (yes, that does make me very young), and i have never played it. the weird thing is i have played a few of the mods for it, such as counter strike and blue shift.
 
Its a good game and still has pretty good graphics~

I'd reccomend it!!


tho I noticed one thing in the game:

the NPC in HL are a LOT smarter than the idiot NPCs in HL2 that just block your way 99% of the time and can't hit anything worth a damn! Take like 5 of them contiously shooting at a single combine to take them down!
