get some skinnier tires ;) hell if i can get both of my tires smoking with a FWD open dif 4 banger(155hp) you surely can with the torque you have ;) of course my left tire always leaves a lot more than the right, but the both leave rubber. my tires are too hard to leave a nice black mark though, it's usually just a light darkening

My old 1984 Caprice with a 300,000 km 305 and 2 years without a tune up got 18 mpg city and nearly 28 mpg highway.

Parisienne? isn't that a Canadian only model? Just like Laurentian?

They sold them in the states, although everyone went in and asked to test drive one of those nice Parmesan models. :p

Do not make me go do a burnout :)

There is no way in hell your mileage can be worse than mine.

Nice car by the way :D

Never, the cars bad enough in the rain, I'd be horrible in the snow.... in a good way of course :D

Iron Woodie.... Damm that's some good mileage!!!
If I could get that, I'm not selling the boat!!!
(cars going into the shop today BTW: carb adjustment, and fixing a tuneup I (apparently) botched)

Yup Parmesan was sold in both Canada and the US ;)

Batman, LOL :)

i can do pretty bad burnouts in one of the hi-los at work. We have two Caterpillars and one Clarke hi-lo (fork lift) and on occasion, have the tendency to line up along a dip in the pavement and race (thus leaving a massive burnout from the wheels spinning in the dip). It's pretty cool...i'm not at my store now, but we put the blue tape we line our floors with @ kmart on the hi-lo and used them for blue racing stripes on a puke-70s-green Clarke hi-lo. It looked pretty cool for the weekend until the receiving manager busted a nut over it. We were even thinking of hooking up an old underbody neon light kit on it, but it would have just busted off. Oh well...
