Walking in the nature sanctuary, wearing my DSLR, sunglasses in back pocket- took one bad step- fell sideways, landed on my hip.

Hurts like a bitch, huge bruise. Saved the camera and the glasses though.😀

It's amazing that the instincts will kick in like that at the last second.

Lucky I didn't brake my hip though. I literaly twisted and then fliped sideways. I used my left forearm to brace myself.
