I fell asleep for a minute and I woke up when my monitor fell on my keyboard

I was sleeping and somehow its chord got yanked and it fell down on my hands. I've placed it like 30cm (about a palm's length) above my desk by using some old books. It looks like it dropped from there and fell on my right hand, right on my knuckles. There aren't any dead pixels or broken plastic or anything. There aren't any colored lines or discolored spots. The only good part was that I found out my monitor can rotate (yay no more neck pain) contrary to what people said on its review page on sites like newegg.

So is it okay? If something happened because of the impact it would have visible damage, right? Are modern monitors durable or should I worry and expect the damage to be visible in the next days, weeks or months? I'm really worried since I can't afford a replacement right now.

this is what I have: https://www.samsung.com/africa_en/consumer/pc-peripherals-printer/monitors/led/LS23B300BS/XA

It's probably fine-- not like it has CFLs that could break

You should be more concerned that you have a poltergeist trying to kill you

Ahahahaha you're right, thought I probably pulled the wire with my legs when I was stretching.

The only weird thing is that I've noticed one side is warm to the touch and the other side isn't, but I noticed that the moment it fell so it's probably nothing. I've also read that some monitor manufacturers place the circuitry only on one side so maybe that's why one side is hotter than the other.

Thanks for your help!
