I feel violated.

Long story short, somebody pulled the fire alarm, everybody got their hands passed through a black light on the way in. Could I have refused to put my hands under the light without a warrant?

Yes.

Nope. Are you allowed to enter certain government buildings without going through a metal detector? Same principal applies

It was my place of residence, a dorm.

Ah, I thought it was a school. Hmm... well it still may be the case... I'm sure there's some rule somewhere that you signed for that covers it.

And then they would have probable cause to detained him . But like I said, if it's a dorm I don't know how it works.

I'd be willing to guess since you're on school property, unless, ya own the hallways in the dorms, they have the right to check your hands. I'm not that sure though, I'm no armchair lawyer 😛

doesn't matter. in teh contract you signed to live in the dorms there is a clause that allows them to violate certain constitutional rights. and why do you feel violated. seminal fluid is only visible with a special lense so the only thing they could have seen was the dye.

P.S. it is seminal fluid not semen itself that glows and as i stated it requires a special lense to see.

i could be wrong but if u chalange the contract the court will rule that you can sign off your constitutional rights but then again i am not a lawyer. Yes u could have refused to put your hands under it. They could detain you under probable suspision for no longer then 20 min as unless they have other evdience in which case they can detain you under resanble suspecion
