Well, I've been home for 3 weeks and I still have barely started unpacking. My room has been a mess ever since I've come back, to the point where I can't walk without stepping on something.

I went and bought some pens and ink and paper, but I've yet to take them out and actually do anything with it. I got a brand new powerbook and the Adobe Creative Suite just came in the other day, but alas I don't feel like messing with it. I could be so productive this summer and make some badass pictures, but you guessed it, I just don't feel like it.

All I've done so far is sleep in my hammock all day, watch TV, and sleep. I've got a job on the weekends, but I'm not really hurting for money and the job sucks (waiter at Cracker Barrel), so I've decided not to work during the week and enjoy my summer.

Does anyone else feel as lazy as I do? I know it's my fault, but I just can't seem to motivate myself to do anything. I have some really nice art supplies that I want to put to good use, but I just can't bring myself to bust out the eisel and canvas. I have managed to read about half of a book, and I might go finish some more of that tonight. I'm useless. 😛

I'm bitter. My youth is gone. I enjoyed it, though if I knew then what I know now, it would've been better. There was no internet, IM, cell phones or anything like that, back then.

You had your POS car (78 Chevy Nova, no AC, vinyl seats 😀) and a pocket full of dimes to call your best girl on a Friday night from the payphone on the corner.

Payphone = a public telephone. You insert money and make a local phone call. For you young ones out there that have no fcking clue as to what a payphone is.

I think you've made that fairly obvious. Sounds like you need a vacation.😀

But actually I am in college. My parents pay for that and the insurance on my car (a 91' geo prizm 😀), but that's about it. This will probably be my last summer to kick back and do nothing at all, so I'm going to take full advantage of it. I just need to get off my ass and actually do something.

DUDE! Ur just like me! Eva since spring semester ended, I never got it together enough to find a job, goto summer school, or do anything. Infact, the only thing I do right now is work-out, sleep, watch tv, bother friend's a lot while they are concentrating on summer school classes, and eat. SO finally, I decided to goto england to visit some of my cousins realizing I might never have a summer completely off like this summer!
