I feel pathetic

Im 23 years old now and because I went to a stupid community college and didnt pick my major for 2 years and because I slacked off in high school im not going to get my fucking degree till im 25. I have been living with my parents and I dont think its really possible for me to move out or do anything with myself untill I finish. Right now im in a bad spot because I found out because of the way the average your GPA I cant get into the major I want without retaking classes. Its going to take me at least 7 years to finish college, while im living with my parents. I guess on the plus side I do have a job but its only part time and I don't make much.

so the fuck what? suck it up and move on. EVERYONE has made a mistake in their life, pining over it and being a little bitch accomplishes nothing. So what if you can't finish for a few years, I have friends who didn't get their BA/BS until they were damn near 30 and they do fine for themselves right now.

Dont feel bad. I'm 32 with loads of experience and cant get a job. Still trudging through community college and I know god damn well its not gonna help me.

I didn't even start college till almost two years after I graduated high school. I then spent two years part time, two years full time in school, then I had to wait a year so I could retake a degree required class (p-chem and p-chem lab), before I could finally graduate. This was during the 70's and I was in no rush to leave school (even though I was paying a lot of the cost.)

Thirty some years later, I don't think about it that much. The only thing I wish I might have done differently was to have focused more on the scholastic aspect and less on all the other activities available at a large university. I was responsible to no one but myself and I was able to breeze through most classes with little effort. O, and did I mention it was the 70's?
