I took shortcuts when I put my mainboard into my case. I didn't properly fasten it. I didn't think it mattered. Then I wondered why it wouldn't boot. Had to take it to the shop and they put it in right. I'd had it in all lop-sided.

Anyone thinking of taking a shortcut in PC building best think twice. It will come back to haunt you.

yea, one thing you learn as a "techie" is that everything has to be absolutely perfect, and even then the dayam system might not even listen!

it got to the point where i had to slow down and take almost an hour to build & install an OS on a new system... :(

but what good is a system built in record time if it doesnt workie?

If you just wanted to be lazy you should have left out the case altogether.
