I feel like a jack arse

Well a guy at work told me he was selling his Harley motorcycle. We talked some more and I decided I would stop by his house after work to check it out. I get there and it turns out to be a pretty good deal. I offer him a price and he accepts. All of a sudden I get the worst case of buyers remorse. I then back out and say I need to sleep on it. Well today he calls me and I inform him that I will have to pass on the deal. He is polite and understands. Well later in the day I start thinking that I'd really like to have the bike so I call him back and I tell him I'll buy it and I'll stop by his house to write him a check and pick it up. It happens again. I have buyers remorse again this time even worse. I finally decide I can't justify spending the cash and call him up again. This time I tell him my wife was ok with me buying it earlier but now she is bitching saying I can't get it. I tell him I'm sorry and I will not be able to buy it. I feel like such a Jack ass. I even had to pull the wife won't let me card.

Grow some fucking balls, step up, and decide. Either way, but decide. Right now you're just flopping around like a limp penis in the wind.

Congratulations, you are the personification of The Pussification of America.

Cover Girl Material, actually.

You would've wrecked it anyway, a Harley's too masculine for you.

That's pretty lame. You need to commit one way or the other. Now your work mate thinks you're a tool :^/

He's putty in your hands, right now.

Call him and offer him half of what your first offer was.

we're missing key points here ... what kind of harley and how good of a deal?

sportster - i can understand falling for it once because it was a good deal, but no one really wants a sportster.

dyna & softail - if it's a good deal, you plunk the check down and ride that bad boy home!!

vsrc & touring - you gotta love these styles.

i'm trying to get the wife to allow me to plunk down 16 large for a softail cross bones. there's something about that bike that just screams me.

If the last year has taught us anything at all, it's that if you want it - BUY IT, regardless if you have the money or not!

Yeah, that's pretty fucked up. I don't know if it's good or bad that he's just a coworker and not a decent friend.

Ok, so you handled that situation badly. Learn from it, and it will have at least had value as a lesson.

That is pretty messed up OP. I would be seriously annoyed if you were doing that to me.
