I go to whole foods when they have their 20% off beer sale. They've got a good beer selection and with 20% off, the prices are excellent too.
And, no. There's nothing wrong with buying a grocery cart full of beer and nothing else.![]()
I actually went into and bought something from Whole Foods today![]()
Their prices tend to be 20% higher on beer in the first place. but, may be a deal compared to beverage house or, wine and more.
A Hippie could never afford Whole Foods.
Yuppie is the demographic that shops there.

Their beer is not 20% higher than other places around here. During their beer sale, they have the best prices around.

Trader Joes usually has better prices. I also check the local liquor stores who sometimes have deals on beers they've overstocked on. This being Arizona, if it doesn't have light, lite or, ultra on the label, no one drinks it. Apparently, their bad taste in beer is rivaled only by their politics.
Trader Joe's has limited selection, but they are my go-to source for inexpensive Chimay Blue. Their own-branded Providential Ale, brewed by Unibroue, is cheap and quite good. There are a few other beers I get from TJ's, but those stand out for me.
Hippies dumpster dive :^D
