I understand that computer prices always go down, but the fricken Radeon 8500 went from like 220 down to 165. And I bought one last week when it was 60 bucks more. ARRGH

AaronP--- that is what Amex Blue is all about--- Buy the best now, and get an adjustment when the next new thing comes out. I bought the 8500 for $237 from Mwave like 2 weeks ago, knowing that PM time would come. The cool thing is, I bought my card from a reputable retailer, AND I got to play with it 2 weeks earlier than if I had waited for a reasonable price. This is a whole new way of shopping for me. I guess it's speculative, but we all know that you can rely on price drops for pc gear.

What's my chance of getting an Amex blue as an unemployed (well, to the government, anyway) student? I have a visa and good credit, but no steady job nor reportable income?

lol, that's funny, I made $65,000 this year, and I believe my limit is $2000, lol. Just how I like it though. I only use it for computer h/w purchases, and it keeps me in check ;)
