For fricking french class. I absolutely hate that class. Every day we take a little quiz, and then correct our assignment from the night before. Every day. EVERY FREAKING DAAAY. I would actually know some of the language if the "teacher" decided to teach for once. Ugh.

So what'd I do? I ordered the teacher's edition and the test book off of amazon :D

This should make my year a little less frustrating..I wasn't learning anything from the class anyways.

But that's the thing..I had her for a whole year last year, and I learned next to nothing. The way the book (and her lack of teaching) is set up is that you basically just follow an example that was noted in the book a little bit before the excercise, but you have to look words up to figure out what they're saying. Actually learning the words though..that's no part of the class.

And it came to $30 shipped for both books, not bad :)

I took it because of some big ordeal involving my family and the Spanish department..and I couldn't take german because of my schedule. Didn't realise that french would be such a hellish class and language.

The french language isn't practical, it isn't pretty (lets talk through our noses, yay!), and should be wiped off the face of the earth.

Lemme see if I can figure this one out...

True? It's the language that is very important for international diplomacy. It's the girls like something or two in french..something..something..something. Haha.

See? Worthless knowledge.

And lord knows why anyone would have picked French as a diplomatic language..all anyone would need to know is "we surrender" :p

Are you sure she gets her quizzes from the teacher's edition of the textbook? My teacher's editions don't have the quizzes in the book, though they do have some in a boxed set of supplemental materials that come with the preview of the text for purchase. I never use them though, I just make up my own.

Haha. Nice. :p
Naw, it's one of the UN's official languages plus there's many Asian, African, South American and Pacific Islands that still use French as their primary language.

Knowing another (2nd or 3rd) language is always a good option. Although it does take some work. That last part was "The girls love a word or two in french. It works all the time" :D Next time you're on a date just give her a sentence or two. 'tu est le plus magnifique fille dans tout le monde. Je voulais prend vous aux Paris avec moi pour eternité'. (you're the most wonderful girl in the world. I'd like to take you to Paris with me forever.)
