This is exactly why I didn't buy a 3770k instead with a 150 dollar mobo ....
Ivy bridge E 6 to 12 physical cores.
Your going to feel bad when this comes out in 5 months.
So this is why I got a socket 2011 ,,,,, because I asked the Intel guru guy here,, if I can drop a ivy e he said yes,,for sure. Might need a BIOS update.
So soon I will have a 8 core 16 thread monster,,,,, while ivy bridge owners are stuck with their quads with HT. And you have to do full upgrade motherboard possibly ram etc..
