funny... i read a line on some reddit post that linked to a craigslist post that said :

If your girlfriend doesn?t make you feel good about yourself and bring joy to your life, fire her. That?s what girlfriends are for.

i know you could say wtf how didn't you see that, but sometimes you don't realize something is wrong until something triggers it...

i guess that line made me think and I realized i was unhappy

no, we live like 20 miles apart in different states, i work and live in NY, she does both in NJ...

we will never ever see eachother unless she goes out of her way to see me

If you are not happy, then your girlfriend is not doing her job and you did right by booting her to the curb. Trust me, there is better out there. I was in a similar situation and I finally booted my girlfriend to the curb to later find my awesome current girlfriend who has obtained "unicorn" status.

I wouldn't settle for anything less than a girl who makes you happy and makes you a better person.
