I drove my car off a ~5 foot drop once. That may not sound like much until your head hits the roof of the car after bouncing up out of your seat when you land. Luckily no damage to the car except had to replace the front sway bar links but they were cheap and easy to change myself. They needed a change anyway.

my friend drove his car off an 10ft drop at the back of a morrisons car park....needless to say he was stoned out of his eyes at the time, the suzuki swift he was driving suffered engine through the bonnet syndrome

There's really no interesting story to go along with it. I was driving through a parking lot a bit faster than I should. I knew the drop was there but the landing was unexpected. Not really sure if it was 5 foot, maybe 4 foot, I don't know I didn't measure it, but when you stand at the lower level you can barely see the upper level and I'm about 5'8" so I figure 5 foot drop is a close estimate.
Anyway yeah there are 3 levels and I went from one level to the next fast enough to have the wheels leave the ground. Call it inexperience and that youthful, nothing bad will happen to me exhuberance. Well it was fun and the car was still drivable though it sure did sway a lot when you turned till I replaced the swaybar links. It sounded like a car accident when I hit the ground there was a loud BOOM. I thought for sure I had wreaked the car for a second but nope it was fine. 3200+lb v8 heavy chevy sure makes a loud boom when it hits the ground from a drop like that. There was a couple of people in the parking lot I heard say whoa! what was that? to each other when it happened but I just kept driving, sorta stunned cause I wasn't expecting that hehe.

From the pictures it looks like the body was just a regular plastic, that would explain why it broke so easily. I've driven mine off the room of a 2 story hours and nothing broke.

Mind if I ask how this post warrants a ban. I thought it was pretty harmless, and I updated it with a pic as soon as i got one.
you guys really need to learn how to deal with schadenfreude when a post isnt as entertaining as you originally hoped. Im sure most of you were hoping that something really bad had actually happened so you could be entertained
