If you saw someone in a silver nissan altima, it probably was me (specially if I couldn't get the damn thing to accelerate)

:)

Glad to say the first time I've drove down there I didn't run into any of the other friendly motorists ;) haha...

Anyways, I got my permit in a june and have been driving all over. Oh well, can't wait till I get my provisional license. :D

The problem suburban and rural drivers have is that they don't look out for pedestrians and cyclists in the city, so be careful!

I love our timed, synchronized traffic lights. If you?re going too slow on certain roads, you?ll piss me off, cause I?ll miss the light I?m going for, which is often a ways away. So look out for me in the maroon Civic in South Minneapolis.

I tried to get the damn thing moving but having only a 4 cylinder this thing doesn't have much power, or else you must have to push with all your strength on the pedal (could have swore I did that too)

Hmmmmmmm... oh well... good way to burn up some gas :D

You've got something wrong with the Altima then, because they're not piss slow cars. It may be a 4 cyl, but it's a pretty large (2.4L) 16 valve 4 cyl.

maybe it's because you're putting the pedal to the medal from stoplights? :p

or the torque converter lockup might be something you're not used to at high speeds...floor it to kick down to the next gear.

You've got something wrong with that altima buddy. Definitely shouldn't be having those problems.

BTW, provisional license? What's that? Does Minnesota have one of those scaling license systems or whatever they're called? So, would that mean that you can drive from 5AM-9PM by yourself only in the car?

If so, sucks for you! HAHA! ;) I'm taking my road test for my license next month. I finish drivers ed next week. Once I get my license, I can drive from 5AM-9PM with as many people as I like. Then, since I took drivers ed, I can drive after 9 a year before I would have if I hadn't.

Must have been all those butterflies we smashed on the way up that blocked the intake ;)

hahaha :)

Oh well, we're getting rid of it. Lease is up. Dad is looking at a 2002 altima (droolz) or a chevy suburban (as suggested by me, the truck man!)
