I drove a Subraru WRX today. ehhhh.

it's ok. not bad for $27k i guess. it's pretty small for me and it could use some more low end torque. not unusual for a turbo engine i guess to need rpms before you feel something i guess.

i prefer lower hp higher torque enines myself.
 
You should of driven the older WRX that were in Australia... much better than the newer ones in my opinion. But the latest ones look a gem!
 
WRX doesen't hold a candle to the WRX STi. 😀

What exactly were you comparing it to in your mind while you were driving though?
 
Hey, I didn't want to start a new thread but I was wondering about the WRX abilities for limited off road use ?

I figured since it's 4wd and is used in rallying that maybe it would be decent for fire roads, etc, and maybe there are after market lift kits, shock packages etc, to increase this ability ?

if you get full skid plates its not so bad but dont think its gonna perform like a H1
