i dropped something heavy on my keyboard and now a key is loose

is it possible for me to repair this or have i ruined my keyboard. can i unscrew my keyboard and reattach a key or is it broken for good

Good luck. Keyboards are considered to be throw away items in most cases.

Usually you can just snap the key back on...

Yea, every key has plastic "clips" so you can just push it back into palce. However, if the clip part is broken, you are most likely out of luck unless there's enough surface area for super glue to work.
