That's why you download from newsgroups with the 700MB split into chunks with par files so you can recover the files if there is any corruption/incompletes.

No, that's why you search for the corrupt rar of the movie (assuming it's in lots of pieces, most are, or they're full movie files and not rars) on a certain thing, and download the corrupt rar, but a working version.
Or you use virtual dub to fix an avi file.
