Uh oh. Sounds like someone has a bad case of the Mondays!

-ATOT, I'm embarassed to see that this quote took this long to post. Issuing an order for all ATOTers to watch Office Space for a refresher.

I do hate having to go to work on Monday, but it is short week for me this week AND next since I am going to Boston for a wedding next weekend.

I can usually survive four-day weeks pretty well.

I may even settle a couple cases this week, so who knows, it may end up being not so bad.

i plan to go in a bit late and play call of duty 4 for at least 40% of the day
i may even take a long lunch and go home early.

that should make up for the 4 hours i put in over the weekend (by habit, not forced or anything)

I play off of the energy around me. If people are motivated then I'm motivated. If people are not motivated then I'm not. No one at my work seems to be interested in actually getting any work done so neither am I. I'm getting my stuff done, but its just kind of going through the motions of day to day stuff. We're a financial firm and even though we're all IT it just doesn't seem like it used to be since we've played such a huge part in the sub prime issue. But even before that I was moved to sit next to people that just drain me because of their lack of... intelligent conversation. I don't know. I'm guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm not looking forward to Monday either. I used to be, but things are just dragging now.

I put in as much overtime as I can. Not because I enjoy the job but because I need the money.

Someday, I'm gonna cross over to the other side. Until then, thread title = story of my stupid little life.

Excuse me? You think that because my company is falling apart and odds are we're going to lose hundreds of employees eventually, in order for me to help the "country" I'm supposed to get pumped and pretend like nothing is happening? Me? As a Network Administrator for a financial firm, down in the dumps because every day we walk into the office we questions weather or not we'll have jobs, is the reason why this country is going to shit?

What if I've been actively looking for another job elsewhere to get myself out of this potential mess and I can get back to the productivity level I'm used to. What if half my job is to implement new technology into our environment to better our current system but because we're keeping a close eye on our budget right now that half of my job is non-existent. What if you don't know shit about me and that bold statement of yours makes you look like a fucking idiot.

You need to get more of the story before you question my participation in the status of our Country, son. That's pretty offensive.

You can explain yourself further and then hopefully DIAF.

I'm at work now, and enjoying myself. Nothing makes my day like talking to idiots on the phone.

I drove to norcal this weekend and got back at 12am last night. I woke up early to do some work but work is almost non existent here. So pretty much I woke up to surf these boards...

I'd rather be laying in bed with my dog.
