i'd much rather have Odom/Kobe than Shaq/Kobe right now. Shaq only has a few effective years left, imo. Odom is coming off somewhat of a breakout year. it's obvious that the Lakers weren't going anywhere anymore with Kobe/Shaq.

i don't think anyone has ever questioned Odoms raw talent. it was always his desire that was questionable.

what are you basing this on?

Shaq's agent: "We've said that we would agree to a trade," Rogers said in a story posted Saturday night on the newspaper's Web site. "I think that's going to happen. I'd be very surprised if it didn't happen."

Brian Grant's agent: "It's very serious. I think it's very close to getting done,"

Its all up to the Lakers, They want some bigger names.

remember, not many teams can accomodate Shaq's contract, without giving up half their starters.

the NBA the way it is, any team shaq goes to is a Playoff team. in the east, any team he is on is a Eastern Finals contender.

Miami was a playoff team last year, and D.Wade is one of the best young players in all of basketball

too bad the Heat didn't draft someone who could contribute right away this year, like Jameer Nelson.....
