$10 a hit is way too expensive, especially underage kids (I should know, I am one)

Repost from yesterday. (can't find what the original was under...)

And I agree, people are going WAY too nuts about this for no reason whatsoever. Kids are going to steal mommy and daddy's booze from the liquor cabinet before dropping $3K on one of those machines or $10 a hit in some hick bar that'd let them in.

ohh i remember this. conan had a joke about it, i think it was invented in ireland(that was the joke). i would try it. i figure it would be a lot easier to get sick from the alcohol, and faster too.

I have no issues drinking the real thing, don't really see the interest. Is this a sign that I'm getting to an old phart? :(

American distributor, Spirit Partners, is touting it as a low-carb, low-calorie and hangover-free alternative to drinking.

The product should be banned soley on the basis of mentioning "low-carb." :p

But seriously, I do not see how this would attract underage 'drinkers' any more than any other source of alcohol.

No, that's just another symptom of it...
You're right. It's probably right wing religious influences. I'm not trying to flame, but that's probably it.
