I don't understand these benchmark results...

Why is it hard to believe?
Dothan is good, that's why people can't wait for it.
As for the EE doing well, no idea, it's THG, but the general concensus is Dothan is an amazing chip, and DOES perform excellently in gaming, but slightly less well in other areas.

agreed.

though its strong for gaming, not so good at other things.
 
yes the dothan is an amazing chip, and was designed for laptop use hence the high IPC and the low clock speed of the chip (for reduced power consumption), i think clock for clock the dothan is the best chip around and is better than the Athlon 64 for "clock for clock comparison" but the athlon 64 is the best performer all round...


and dont forget THG is flawed big time, they are toooo bias towards intel
