no one tells the truth 100% of the time.

If you're lying about this, that means that everyone always tells the truth, but that means you have to tell the truth, and your statement says that everyone lies...error....error...error........

A lie requires knowing that you're wrong in your incorrect statement, and his would still be invalid/"a lie" if just one person tells the truth 100% of the time.

meh, people are contradictory.

It's perhaps not "right", but it still happens nonetheless.

Humans are not a logical species haha..

I don't understand why people have to lie and/or brag about themselves on here/internet.

Or the people that talk big and such but when other(s) call them out/request a challenge, they fold like a biotch.

Not all liars do it on purpose though.

Some people who lie, have told/said the lie enough they see it as true and reality. So to them they do not feel they are lying.

Some people believe something is true based on the information they heard and believe them to be facts (Just look at P&N for this alllll the time.) and thus believe it true even though its more projection and only partially true.

Some people cannot be willing to tell the truth and instead use a white lie. Either to spare the feelings for someone, or whatever.
I've gotten to the point where in the span of 5 seconds, I can come up with a lie, believe it true myself, and tell it with little hesitation and steady heart rate. I found myself amazed and disturbed at the same time looking back at my last lie.

My job is basically to be lied to (under oath, BTW) and figure out how to catch them in their lies.

Fun times.

I've been frequently accused of lying in this forum (including by a mod) and I try to provide evidence whenever I can to show that I am honest in my answers. Yet people continue to accuse me of lying and never apologize when I prove them wrong.

I know - I wish the Dems would stop lying to us.

Sucks you getting all those lies - 'maybe Iraq doesn't have WMD', 'letting the big banks do whatever they want might cause a problem', 'giving all the money to the rich is bad'.

And 'not every possible war is a good war'.

And evolution.

Lies are what keeps the world going. Seriously what would the world be like if every single person told nothing but the truth? I suspect civil wars in every country and every country at war with each person mad at their own family.

However it's the habitual liars that bother me. I can roll my eyes with the general bs's out there but the habitual liars have some serious issues. Even lying about what they ate for dinner kind of lies.

I think it'd be good having no lies - but there is room for not saying some things, diplomacy and tact etc.
