why? the buyers are getting exactly what is listed in the auction. If they can't read the auction carefully and just buy on impulse its a cheap leason to learn.

he has it in the right catagory. he even says (multiple times) its a list etc.

1. Listing policy violations.
2. Misleading title.
3. Intentionally misleading or deceptive title.

Hopefully, if a few more people do it, this guy's auctions will get shut down.

"BRAND New digital raptor 150gb 10000 rpm WHOLESALE LIST"

A non-deceptive title would be:
"BRAND WHOLESALE LIST for Raptor Hard Drives:

Also, he has multiple pictures of a hard drive. In addition, he mentions the drive in the title and in the post before mentioning that it is a list. On top of that, his headlining font of the body describes a drive, then he switches to a less fancy font to say list. By the end of the body, he gets down to a very tiny font.

Exactly. He is relying on people's stupidity to get a sale, and he hopes that his fine print will get him out of trouble.

He apparently IS breaking their rules. He uses the brand name "Raptor" several times and the brand name "Western Digital" appears in a picture.

It does appear that the intent is to deceive.

Yet another reason I tell the inexperienced to send me a link to the auction before they buy/bid on anything. That includes eBay, Craigslist, etc.
Example - My mom wanted some Sheer Cover mineral makeup. Sheer Cover is a name brand. The auction was listed as something like "MINERALS MAKEUP SHEER FULL COVER BIG KIT LIGHT BARE". She assumes that if she types in "Sheer Cover" that all the auctions will be for Sheer Cover brand makeup. The auction name covers both Sheer Cover and Bare Minerals, the two biggest name brands. The auction states at the very bottom : "We are not nor are we in any way, shape or form affiliated with i.d.bareMinerals/Bare Escentuals brand or any other tv brand."
Sadly it's a way of doing business on eBay. It's wrong and predatory, but still legal.

By this reasoning, no one should ever trust anybody. That's becoming more true all the time online, but it doesn't mean it's right. This kind of deceit is despicable imo. Yes, you should always read all the fine print in an auction before bidding, but it's obvious that anyone who does is NOT going to bid on it. This seller is counting on the one person who makes a quick assumption, possibly in the last moments of the auction in order to make a scandalous profit. For shame.

I looked at the last 400 feedbacks and every single one of the negative feedback is for this type of listing. I think all but one(I couldn't understand the most recent one) of the neutrals didn't appreciate his tactics. It's a sad way to make a buck, if you ask me.
