If it looks too good to be true - it probably is.

There is no fine printe involved in his listings. You'd have to be a bit of an idiot to buy form him though, and I can't see how he got such a large feedback count (and I wonder why the item IDs are listed as private?)

I remember someone selling a video card on eBay, and in white text on the white background that could only be seen if you highlighted it, there was a disclaimer that said "This auction is only for a photo of the card, not the card itself" or something stupid like that.

I was thinking $50 for a 150GB drive was just a mediocre deal at best, and then I finally realized that he wasn't even selling the drive. Why wouldn't Ebay ban him for fraudulent selling?

Actually, $50 for a 150gb Raptor would be a really good deal, but alas, he's not selling you a Raptor.

I take it you didn't read the description very well either.

He's selling a list of whole sellers for the product type shown. But you're initial statement does kinda go along with the point :D

Perhaps...but I have seen 300GB SATA drives for about the same price, so it didn't seem very hot to me.

In any case, what a dick.

Which still goes to the how the hell does he end up with over a 1000 count feedback by selling this crap. Do people buy and then realize they were stupid and just pay anyway..and leave good feedback or what?

Actually its totally legit. Look at the category listing, its listed under wholesale lists, not hard drives.

If he were to remove the pictures/specs for the HD & clarify what he's actually selling I'd agree with you ... as it is its deceptive.

The fine print is pretty easy to read. While the seller probably had lesser-than-pure intentions when he created the listing, I'd blame the buyers for not reading the big-ass disclaimer/description.
