i don't understand how some people can spend 100+ on a stupid pair of jeans...

if it makes my girl look like that all the power to her 😛
But I agree 100%
In fact funny joke on these "Seven" jeans... my wife was getting her hair done at her friend's salon and my wife commented that her friends jeans were cool... friends replies "Thanks, they are sevens"... wife replies "I dont care what size they are... what brand are they?" <insert laugh track here>

i own a pair of seven jeans.

god they are great and make my butt look fantastic.

i like the feel of tight jeans.

anyway, i got them for 50% off at filene's basement, no way i could afford full price.

Whoa... thats a crazy amount to spend. sheesh. would never spend that much!
i dont mean to be an attention whore, but i could look like that in thrift shop jeans if they were the right fit. thats too much to spend on jeans!

Member's Mark bluejeans 12.77 a pair at Sams and they are twice as thick and sturdy as a $30-40 pair of Levi's

the most i spend is like 50 bucks. anything close to 100 is ridiculous

even 50 is pushing it for me...maybe cause you can always find something on sale. probably not the same brand, but something equivalent.

I myself am today wearing a pair of Levi's 560s, bought brand-new from a thrift store for $10. I don't care for 560s that much (prefer 569) but this is what the woman bought me.

The most I've ever spent on a pair of pants was $16.99 at Value City. I usually get something around $10, and when they get scroungy they become my new work pants. Lately I've been getting pants at Steve and Barry's for really cheap.

on the flip side, I'm sure a lot of people out there could ask, how can anyone spend $150+ on a 74gig HDD.
I mean to us, they're just pants. I'm happy with my sub $15 pants from Gap or Old Navy. Some people out there needs the status of wearing some $100 jeans. they want the bragging rights. Like this one time a girl in my class was talking about her jeans and sh1t, some guy said "Seven" and she was like "oh, I'm surprised you've even heard of it."
Just as if you were the first one out of your friends to reach a terabyte of storage. something like that.

I wear $250+ pants/jeans because they don't have 'the fit' with cheaper US sold jeans. European stuff also just looks more elegant.

Bingo same here I've never spent $250 on jeans though. Thats a little to much. I usually get some Diesels, Paper Denim or True Religions for a little less then that. Sometimes they have the high end brands at the discount stores like Off Saks 5th or Nordstroms Rack for less then $100.

There is no point in spending more than 30 or 40 on some Levi's. Show me a pair of jeans that last half as long as Levi's, c'mon, show me!

Or $600 processors or $500 video cards, hell 2 of them even.

Kinda different in that there's a lot of expensive R&D that goes into designing a chipset and testing it and writing drivers, updating production lines for new chip layouts, etc.

These are pieces of cloth held together with thread.

I'm not trying to justify the price of jeans or videocards, my point is, people make similar choices in certain things which other people find hard to understand but neither of them are wrong since it is their choice after all.
