Because it revolves around Julian Assange and there are tons of threads on him I can understand why it was locked but I was just making a comparison to him and a fictional villian because the details center on his encrypted doomsday files, which I could not find a thread on in OT or P&N.

I'm aware it could turn into political banter but the lock came a little too quick?

It's not that fine of a line, and there's quite a bit of leeway on either side of the line. But something that's clearly going to end in debate with two opposing, arguing sides, belongs in P&N. Given the other 10+ threads, it's pretty clear that some people think he's a hero, some people think he's a villain - there's going to be debate.
