I went to Canadian Tire last night (just a big hardware store for you Americans) to pick up a new set of windshield wipers.
I took them to the front counter and the guy started to talk about dungeons & dragons, role playing games, hit points, attacks, when he started playing and that he's forming a guild.
Up to this point, all I've said is hello. I didn't know how to react (or even how to carry this particular conversation because even though I know of RPG's, I don't know anything about them). I just kind of stood there, with an akward smile, then said "have a good night".
Now there's nothing wrong with playing these kinds of games, or even talking about them. I just don't understand why he would choose this topic to talk about.
I wonder if he was gay, thought I was attractive and didn't have anything else to talk about.
Oh well... at least my wipers work well
