It happens very rarely to me (unless I play in 3D mode).

It did though, in two games that I can remember clearly. I did get some motion sickness (not much though) in STALKER, mostly due to the head-bob effect, but fortunately enough we could temper in the game's files to manually change some values around, so I almost completely removed that specific effect and whatever it was that got me feel dizzy stopped and I could play for hours without problems. It also happened in Mirror's Edge, but I only played it a few times at my cousin's on his 360, I don't own it myself so I don't mind about it. I haven't played RAGE in many weeks, but I don't recall having any motion sickness-like issues with it.

With that said, I DO get motion sickness from most games if I play them in 3D mode, it pisses me off since I do like some of them when played in 3D, but alas I can't endure it long enough. Usually I really have to rest my eyes after barely half an hour of play otherwise I feel so bad I just can't play anything even in 2D for hours. It's similar for 3D movies at the theaters, not as bad though, and curiously I can watch 3D movies at home without much problems, if at all.

Console games and direct console ports will have a low FOV adapted for playing on a TV, rather than a computer monitor that you sit much closer to. This will cause motion sickness for a lot of people. Personally I can't really tolerate anything less than 75-80 degrees.

I primarily play FPS games(bf3, l4d series, COD series....) but I never had a issue until ARMA 2. I can't play more than 5 minutes without getting a headache. I've grew up fishing on the great lakes without one issue ever, but put me in that game and my head is spinning.
